We are living in a fast-paced environment and may find ourselves under enormous pressures to function well in our days. Society demands a lot from everyone, and children are having to manage the pressures of learning, focusing in school, making friends, participating in sports, and growing - mentally, emotionally and physically. 
Yoga for children may help to reduce the anxieties and pressures associated with modern living and give children the space to learn about their bodies, minds and emotions. Regular yoga lessons may help to improve balance, co-ordination, strength, flexibility, proper growth, self-confidence, proper breathing and physical fitness. They may also help to improve emotional regulation, concentration and sensory integration.  
Through yoga, children can learn how to be curious about, and enjoy their bodies in a way that is fun, creative, calming and uplifting.
