Harmonise your Body and Mind with the true essence of Yoga

What you need to know:

  • PLEASE LEAVE YOUR SHOES AT THE DOOR. YOGA IS PRACTICED BAREFOOT
  • BE STILL... PLEASE RESPECT THE QUIET SACRED SPACE OF THE STUDIO. IT IS BENIFICIAL FOR YOUR OWN STATE OF MIND
  • HONOR YOUR LIMITS
  • BE SURE TO CONSULT YOUR GP PRIOR TO ATTENDING CLASSES. IF YOU HAVE ANY INJURIES OR MEDICAL CONDITIONS, ENSURE TO INFORM THE TEACHER.
  • DRESS COMFORTABLY.
  • PRACTICE ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. TRY TO HAVE YOUR LAST MEAL AT LEAST 2 HOURS BEFORE CLASS.
  • TRY TO ARRIVE 10 – 15 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS.
  • SWITCH OFF YOUR CELL PHONE.
  • YOGA MATS ARE SUPPLIED.
  • SIGN IN PRIOR TO COMMENCING CLASS.
  • DO NOT FORCE OR STRAIN DURING CLASS. PRACTICE AHIMSA, NON VIOLENCE TO THE MIND / BODY.
  • IT IS BENEFICIAL TO PRACTICE MORE THAN TWICE A WEEK TO ALLOW THE MAGIC OF YOGA TO WORK FOR YOU.
  • ASANAS (POSES), CAN BE PRACTICED WITH THE EYES CLOSED OR AT HALF GAZE TO DEEPLY RELAX THE MIND, EXCEPT FOR THE STANDING ASANAS, WHERE THE EYES ARE KEPT OPEN OR AT HALF GAZE.
  • TRY TO MAKE YOUR PRACTICE A MOVING MEDITATION.
  • DRINK WATER AFTER CLASSES.
  • LIE BACK ON YOUR MAT AND ENJOY!!

Please arrive 15 minutes before class. The studio doors are locked once class commences.  

Yoga is not competitive. Each body is different. So each body adapts and moves to their own capacity.

Make it your own journey to reach a deeper understanding of one’s own Mind / Body.

It’s not necessary to book classes  beforehand but try to arrive early to get your place.

Classes work on a month to month basis or drop in classes. No contracts.
